Is that the Google Nexus 10 2 we spy in press render form?

A rendered picture of what is alleged to be the 2013 edition of the Google Nexus 10 has appeared online. There has been plenty of speculation about the potentially Android 4.3 10-inch tablet before, but this is the first time we have seen something so revealing.

Samsung was the manufacturer of the last Nexus 10, but rumours suggest that the company which manufacturers the Nexus 7 tablet - both the current and previous versions - will take the reins this time around. Asus is being tipped heavily.

Other rumours hint at the new Nexus 10 having a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of the Samsung Exynos chipset, as it will be from a different manufacturer, and that it could even come with Android 4.4 KitKat from the box, rather than the expected 4.3 Jelly Bean.

We're not sure whether we'll actually find out definitely this side of Christmas - we're still waiting on the Nexus 5 for starters - but if this render is the real deal it would seem that Google is keen to give the iPad Air a run for its money. If not, someone sure has been sharpening up his or her Photoshop skills.
